THIS PAPER PROPOSES A COMBINED method FOR Sequential CIRCUIT TEST GENERATION WHICH EMPLOYS STGBASED AND GA-BASED TEST GENERATION TECHNIQUES. ALMOST ALL PREVIOUS HYBRID TEST GENERATORS USE ALGORITHMIC DECOMPOSITION, BUT THE PROPOSED method USES CIRCUIT DECOMPOSITION. SO THE STG-BASED TECHNIQUES ARE USED TO GENERATE TEST FOR CONTROL UNIT AND TEST GENERATION FOR DATAPATH UNIT IS PERFORMED BY RESORTING TO GA-BASED TECHNIQUES. THE COMBINATION OF THE TWO TECHNIQUES IS EXPECTED TO PROVIDE HIGH FAULT COVERAGES IN A REASONABLE TIME. EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS SHOW THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE APPROACH.

Abstract:

Today, with the growth of technology, monitoring processes by the use of video and satellite sensors have been more expanded, due to their rich and valuable information. Recently, some researchers have used Sequential images for defect detection because a single image is not sufficient for process monitoring. In this paper, by adding the time dimension to the image-based process monitoring problem, we detect process changes (such as the changes in the size, location, speed, color, etc.). The temporal correlation between the images and the high dimensionality of the data make this a complex problem. To address this, using the Sequential images, a statistical approach with RIDGE regression and a Q control chart is proposed to monitor the process. This method can be applied to color and gray images. To validate the proposed method, it was applied to a real case study and was compared to the best methods in literature. The obtained results showed that it was more effective in finding the changes.

Abstract:

In this paper, finite element method is used for the analysis of Sequential construction of embankment. The idealized study gives information on the behavior of a multi-stage construction of an embankment over a soft cohesive deposit. If the response is determined after the construction of entire structure, it is likely to be different from the results which are obtained by considering Sequential construction procedure. The displacement and stresses have been calculated during each stage of Sequential construction of embankment. The developed computer program shows bearing capacity failure at final lift where the algorithm fails to converge leading to failure.

Abstract:

Geostatistical Simulation method was said in 1970 by A. Journel and then was developed and vastly used in several industries like mining, environment, oil and gas. The most important properties of Geostatistical Simulation are, producing a group of images which shows a rang of possible events, calculating probable percentage of happening and also determining the risk in each step of process.Fifty six holes have been drilled in this deposit. 2738 data from 56 drilled holes were gathered for grade estimation and reserve evaluation. Statistical studies have shown a high skewness for grade.Geostatistical studies have shown that lowest variance is in N135E>45o direction and the highest variance appears in the N45E>0o direction. For simulating via SGS method, data were transferred to standard normal and then simulated 100 times (in this way 100 realization were created). All of the realizations were honor to histogram and variogram of samples, so all realizations are valid.E-type and probability maps are drawn in 10 meters intervals and grade-tonnage curves were drown for each realization. E-type maps evaluate average 10.7 million tones for whole deposit. grade-tonnage curves were showed the rang of tonnage variance. That is between 10.37 and 12.06 million tones for whole deposit.

Let X be a reflexive Banach space, T: X®X a nonexpansive mapping with C=Fix (T)  ¹ Æ; and F: X®X d-strongly accretive and l-strictly pseudocontractive with d+l>1. In this paper, we present modified hybrid steepest-descent methods involving Sequential and functional errors with functions admitting a center which generate convergent sequences to the unique solution of the variational inequality V I* (F, C). We also present similar results for a strongly monotone and Lipschitzian operator in the context of a Hilbert space and apply the results for solving a minimization problem.

Abstract:

Burnout has been a major concern in the educational settings and it is worth exploring it among English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students and finding its relationship with other factors, such as emotional intelligence (EI), which may help reduce burnout sources. In this light, this study was designed to a) explore Iranian EFL students’ burnout and EI profiles; b) investigate the relationship between EFL students’ burnout and their EI; and c) examine the extent to which EFL students’ EI competencies could predict their burnout. To these ends, 100 male and female Iranian EFL university students, selected through convenience sampling from two universities (Shahrekord University and Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz), participated in the study and responded to the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) and the Bar-On’ s Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i). To triangulate the data, a semi-structured interview was conducted with 20 EFL students. Data analysis showed that EFL students had a low level of burnout and were emotionally intelligent at the intrapersonal level. Also, the data from semi-structured interview provided further insight into the quantitative results and explained some personal and organizational factors in relation to EFL students’ burnout. Moreover, bivariate correlation and multiple regression analysis revealed a negative relationship between EI and two dimensions of burnout (emotional exhaustion and cynicism) and a positive relationship between professional efficacy and EI. Furthermore, intrapersonal, general mood, and adaptability components of EI were found to be better predictors of burnout. The findings have implications for language educators in reducing students' burnout.

Abstract:

In this paper, a novel automated method for modeling 2D and 3D planar delamination growth in laminated composites under mode-I, mode II and mixed model-I/II displacement components is introduced. The method is based on minimizing the difference between strain energy release rate value/distribution (G) at/along the crack front and interlaminar fracture toughness. The method consists of the virtual crack closure technique for calculation of G and a moving mesh algorithm embedded in an optimization solution procedure. The standard Sequential linear programming (SLP) performs the solution of the optimization problem. It has already been shown that the SLP method has good convergence and stability behavior in general engineering optimization problems. To further increase the performance of the SLP method in G-gradients calculation, a technique based on the difference of elemental stiffness has been developed. This technique enables calculation of G-gradients in the postprocessor part of the solution, without imposing a large amount of numerical calculation efforts. The efficiency and performance of the technique has been investigated by solving three case studies. In all three cases, good performance and acceptable numerical efficiency have been achieved.

Background & Aim: Dental plaque is recognized as the main etiologic factor in gingival diseases. There fore, prevention and control of plaque aggregation on various dental surface display a very significant role in prophylaxis and treatment of both gingivitis and periodontitis. However mechanical removing of the plaque is the primary method for dental and oral hygiene, It can not be carried out perfectly even by precision patient. To resolve the problem, it is recommended to add chemical control to mechanical method. In respect to the importance of chemical control, this study purposes to evaluate synergic effect and compare effect of chlorhexidine, NaF mouth washes, a type of chemical method, on plaque control.Materials & methods: The studied group consist of 15 dentistry students. After a thorough professional prophylaxis including interdental cleaning.15 subjects started to rinse according to 4 different regiments: regimen CH-NaF: chlorhexidine Immediately followed by Sodium fluoride in the morning and in the evening; regimen NaF-CH: Sodium Fluoride immediately followed by Chlorhexidine in the morning and in the evening; regimen CH: chlorhexidine in the morning and in the evening; regimen NaF: Sodium Fluoride in the morning and in the evening. No further oral hygiene measures were allowed for the next 5 day. After 5day, the subject were scored for BOP, PI and PCR, afther of days’ washout period of 4 days. Following this procedure, all subjects went through all 4 regiments. Results: Our observation revealed no bleeding due to probing in all who used four rinsing regimes. The rate of plaque index varied according to the type and manner of the mouthwash applied, so that minimal plaque index was seen in combining chlorhexidine / Sodium Fluoride regimen. In addition, the mean plaque control record percent different in accordance to the type and manner of the mouthwash applied, so that the lowest mean was illustrated in the regimen combining chlorhexidine / Sodium Fluoride mouthwashes. Conclusion: The observation showed no bleeding on probing in subjects who applied four regimens. The best outcomes of plaque index and plaque control record were obtained with use of chlorhexidine-sodium fluoride mouth washes.

Abstract:

The Hybrid Excitation Flux Switching Generator (HEFSG) has gained significant popularity in recent times owing to its relatively simple remarkably efficient topology. To optimize the performance of the generator, recent advancements and emerging patterns in mathematical modeling and software simulation, along with the utilization of optimization techniques, have facilitated the development of a novel methodology for electrical machine design. This study investigates the configuration and optimization of a Hybrid Excitation Flux Switching Generator, focusing on the rotor, armature coil, and field excitation. The optimization process involves multiple sequences for each component, employing the Local Optimization method as an iterative approach to determine the optimal sequence that yields the highest output efficiency. Through the investigation of six rotor sequences, two armature coil sequences, and two field excitation coil sequences, a detailed optimization process was conducted. Consequently, the final output voltage of the HEFSG gains a 1.10% increment of voltage compared to the initial outcomes. Several sequences have influenced the output voltage performance of the generator during the optimization process. Therefore, modifications to the design of the arrangement contribute to the expansion of the operational range of the generator.

Abstract:

Light-energy conversion by photo electrochemical cells has been extensively studied in the past 50 years using various combinations of semiconductors. Organic–inorganic perovskites have recently attracted increasing attention as light absorber. A direct band gap, strong light absorption, and high carrier mobility make them excellent absorber in solar cells. The morphology, stoichiometry and crystallinity of perovskites have significant effect on the device performance significantly, then deposition techniques are critical to achieve high efficiency solar cells. Efficiency of perovskite solar cells improve from 9% to 15% in two years due to change of deposition method. In this research, the two step technique was employed for the deposition of perovskite films. Different parameters of this method such as TiO2 thickness, concentration of the CH3NH3I solution and dipping time in the CH3NH3I solution were optimized. Finally, in optimized condition, we obtained a power conversion efficiency of 11.9%.
